Zambia AIDS Campaign Steering Group
To chart a way forward for the Zambia AIDS Campaign, participants at the National Campaigner's meeting agreed that the steering group which helped plan the meeting was doing a good job and therefore mandated them (with one addition) to continue working with WAC.
The mandate includes making key decisions as it pertains to organising joint actions for the participants of the meeting and taking up responsibility for implementing some parts of the work as they have done in the organisation of the meeting.
The members of the Zambia AIDS Campaign Steering group are:

These individuals/organisations were acknowledged as the appropriate ones due to their comparative advantage, including good relations with the media, the ability to mobilise masses, institutional memory of previous mobilisation actions, expertise in campaigning and advocacy, commanding credibility and respect and a general understanding of what is needed from civil society to infl uence the national agenda.
