2007 WORLD AIDS DAY INFORMATION
The 2007 theme of World AIDS Day was leadership. Find out how it was chosen.
At the national campaigner's meeting in June, participants decided to adapt one of the World AIDS Campaign international posters to make it relevant to the Zambian context.
In the end they developed 2 versions; one of the Zambian posters targets government leaders (to remind them that they are accountable for the promises they have made) and the other targets individual leadership (with the objective of stimulating the thinking around leadership as it applies to everyone’s daily lives and acknowledging that each person is a leader in the response to HIV and AIDS).
