This report documents the findings of an external evaluation conducted for the World AIDS Campaign to evaluate their sub-Saharan Africa programme, implemented in 2007 in Zambia, Kenya and Nigeria, and the three sub-regions of Southern Africa, Eastern Africa and Western Africa.
The main objective of the programme was to strengthen the ability of diverse constituency-based civil society organisations (CSO) at the national and sub-regional level in sub-Saharan African to jointly campaign for political accountability of AIDS decisionmakers, with particular reference to the promise of universal access to HIV and AIDS prevention, treatment, care and support.
